Monkee-Boy Launches Virtual Open Houses For Mobility35
The Texas Department of Transportation, the city of Austin, and the Capital Area Metropolitan Planning Organization collaborated to create Mobility35 with the goal of improving highway travel on I-35 within Williamson, Travis, and Hays counties. Mobility35 wanted to provide the public with an easy way to provide feedback on proposed road improvements.
Mobility35 selected Monkee-Boy to create websites for these virtual open houses. The Central7 Virtual Open House site was developed to gather public input about the Central 7-mile Comprehensive Project, an effort to make road improvements between US 183 and Riverside Drive. The I-35 at SH 123 Project Virtual Open House site provides citizens with a way to comment on proposed improvements at I-35 and SH 123 as well as ramp reversals between SH 80 and RM 12.
These sites incorporated a clean and simple design to educate Open House participants, guide them through the project overview and proposed improvements, and allow them to easily supply feedback.
